動詞 admit 有以下幾個不同的中文解釋和用法：第一個意思是「允許...進入」，因此 admit 的名詞 admission 有入場費/門票的意思 ，第二個意思是「收治入院」，第三個意思是「承認」。

Children cannot be admitted to the museum unless they are accompanied by an adult.
