必考多益单字 - 搭乘火車 & 船 &公車

動詞 board 的其中一個解釋是 (使) 搭上船、火車或飛機。Get/be on board = 搭上了(船、火車或飛機)。Be on board 也有比喻的用法，假如今天你的同事跟你說：It's good to have you on board for this project. ，就表示他/她「很高興你能參與這個企劃」，這裡的 be on board 有著「同意、願意參與、一起合作」的意思。

At London airport, she boarded a plane to Australia.
