3. Come along = 實現、出現

Stop by 和 Swing by 意思很相近，也經常交替著用，都有「順道拜訪某個地方或某個人」的意思，但一般來說 stop by 停留的時間會稍微長一點，因此重點會放在要停留拜訪的地點 ; 而 swing by 的 swing 本身就有搖晃、擺動的解釋 (網球、棒球揮拍揮棒的動作也是這個動詞喔)，所以當我們 swing by some place，意思是我們稍微繞道去某處，旅途還是有一個最終的目的地的。

I just stopped by to say hello.

我只是順道拜訪跟你打個招呼。

I'll stop by after work to drop off the paperwork.
