There are two Verbal Reasoning question types.
GMAT Verbal Reasoning Section

The Verbal Reasoning section tests your ability to read and comprehend written material and to reason and evaluate arguments. You'll have 45 minutes to answer 23 multiple-choice questions that measure your verbal analytical skills.
