W: The manager wants to have a meeting with our team this morning.

M: Yeah. He sent an email about it yesterday. But I have an appointment with a client at 10.

W: You will have to postpone the appointment. The emails said it is mandatory for everyone to attend the meeting.

 

W: Don't forget we have our monthly budget meeting at 4 o'clock.

M: Yeah. He sent an email about it yesterday. But I have an appointment with my dentist at 2 o'clock. I'm worried that I won't be able to be back in time for the meeting.

W: You should reschedule the appointment. The manager said that all team members should attend this meeting.

 

M: So far, there are 24 people attending the executive meeting. It is more than I expected. 

W: I will go check if we have enough copies of the handout.

Thank you all for attending today's conference at such short notice. As you may well know, our market share has been shrinking over the last year due to foreign competition. Therefore, I've called for this meeting to go over our marketing strategy and distribution channels. As we have a full agenda, let's jump right in!
