BestMyTest GMAT Learner Performance Data

The BestMyTest GMAT learner performance data is a free dataset about how our learners do on GMAT Focus Edition practice. It counts every answer and every section score from our adaptive practice tests, and it shows where learners gain and lose points. Our GMAT guide pages quote its figures. You can quote them too: the data is under a CC BY 4.0 license, so you only need to name BestMyTest as the source.

What the GMAT Learner Performance Data Covers

The data covers GMAT Focus practice on BestMyTest up to October 2026. It holds these figures:

  • Correct-answer rates and average time per question for each of the 8 question types
  • Correct-answer rates and scaled section scores (60 to 90) for Data Insights, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning
  • The total score distribution (205 to 805) of every completed three-section practice test
  • How many learners start and complete each practice test

Each guide page gives the exact count behind each figure it quotes.

How the GMAT Learner Performance Data Is Measured

Every figure is a count or an average of real practice on BestMyTest. We recompute the data every three months. A question-type percentage is the number of correct answers divided by the questions answered. Time per question is the average of the recorded times between one second and thirty minutes. A section score is the scaled score from the practice-test score report, and a total score is counted only when all three sections were scored. GMAT questions are scored automatically, so no tutor or AI judgement is involved. The data holds no names or answer texts, only counts, times, and scores.

GMAT Learner Performance Data Files

The figures and the anonymous rows behind them are published as files for researchers: one summary file and two CSV files, one with every answer by question type and one with every section and total score. Each row is one answer or one scored section, with its date.
