TOEFL 寫作模板怎麼用
TOEFL 寫作模板在你動筆前就給你回答的架構，讓你把時間花在想法上，而不是結構上。Email 有 7 分鐘，討論貼文有 10 分鐘。有了模板，你就知道需要幾句話，以及每一句要做什麼。
這兩個題目的評分重點不同。Email 看你是否涵蓋每一個必要重點，以及語氣是否適合收件人。討論貼文看你是否表明清楚的立場、提出自己的理由並加以支持。兩者都會評分文法和詞彙。
我們的學生數據怎麼說？我們的老師批改了大約 65,000 份 TOEFL 寫作回答，我們的 AI 又批改了另外 64,000 份。在 84% 的討論貼文和 92% 的 Email 中，文法是最低分的項目。在 Email 題目中，拼字是最常見的修改，每四個修改就有一個，而且 78% 的 Email 至少有一個拼字錯誤。我們學生的討論貼文一般是 132 個字，Email 一般是 112 個字。下面的模板就是依照這些長度設計的。

TOEFL Email 模板
Write an Email 題目就用這個 TOEFL Email 模板。題目會給你一個情境、一位收件人，以及一份 Email 必須涵蓋的編號重點清單。模板很簡單。用適合收件人的稱呼開頭。依照題目列出的順序，每個必要重點各寫一句。最後用和稱呼相配的結尾語收尾。你有 7 分鐘。
TOEFL Email 模板步驟 1：用三個問題規劃
動筆前，先從題目中回答三個問題。收件人是誰？你為什麼寫信？你必須包含什麼？收件人決定你的用語要多正式。寫信的目的通常是提出請求，而語氣在這裡最重要。編號的重點就是信件主體的內容。規劃任何東西之前，先數一數有幾個重點。一封回答了每個重點的短 Email，比一封漏掉一個重點的長 Email 更好。
TOEFL Email 模板步驟 2：選擇稱呼與結尾語
稱呼和結尾語會讓收件人知道這封信有多正式，所以兩者要保持同樣的正式程度。

對教授用太隨便的開頭，整封信會顯得不用心。對同學用正式頭銜，聽起來又很冷淡。兩種情況都會在語氣上被扣分。
TOEFL Email 模板步驟 3：每個重點各寫一句
依照題目列出的順序，一次處理一個必要重點來寫信件主體。開頭句型幫你禮貌地開始一句話，剩下的想法由你自己完成。再加上一個你自己的細節，讓這句話真正回應重點，而不是重複題目。

請求用問句會比用命令句好。說清楚你要什麼，例如筆記、投影片或新的日期，收件人才能回覆你。
TOEFL Email 模板步驟 4：檢查 Email
把整封信讀一遍。檢查題目評分的三件事：每個必要重點都有一句話、語氣適合收件人、稱呼和結尾語相配。然後檢查拼字。在我們的數據中，78% 的 Email 至少有一個拼字錯誤，而且每四個修改就有一個是拼字。

範例用禮貌的稱呼開頭。它依照題目的順序，每個必要重點各寫一句。最後用正式的結尾語收尾。這就是一個完整回答的整體架構。這是一個好答案，但不是唯一的答案。
TOEFL 學術討論模板
Write for an Academic Discussion 題目就用這個 TOEFL 學術討論模板。題目會給你一個教授的問題和兩則簡短的學生貼文。你要在 10 分鐘內寫出自己的一則貼文。模板有六個部分：立場、一個理由、它的支持、第二個理由、它的支持，以及一句話的結論。

規劃之前，先讀完兩則學生貼文。他們的理由和例子已經在討論中了，所以你的貼文必須加入他們沒說過的內容。你可以同意或反對其中一人，也可以提出自己的立場。只要有好好支持，任何立場都能拿高分，所以選一個你能最快解釋的立場。
TOEFL 討論模板步驟 2：表明你的立場
讀者必須從第一句話就知道你的想法。不要用對主題的一般性評論開頭。立場只用一句話寫，把理由留到下一步。
開頭句型：In my opinion,… · In my view,… · I personally think… · I believe…
TOEFL 討論模板步驟 3：提出兩個你自己的理由
理由說明你的立場為什麼正確。10 分鐘內寫兩個理由是很安全的規劃。每個理由都用你自己的話寫成一個完整的句子。只是重複立場的句子不算理由，從學生貼文抄來的理由也不會加分。
TOEFL 討論模板步驟 4：支持每個理由
只有理由本身沒有說服力。加上一到兩句話，說明這個理由在現實生活中怎麼運作。具體的例子會說出一個情況、一個人或一個結果。第二個理由也要像第一個一樣有支持，但要用不同的例子。

TOEFL 討論模板步驟 5：用一句話結尾
用新的說法重述你的立場，並回扣你的理由。不要提出新的想法，因為已經沒有時間支持它了。

TOEFL 學術討論範例題目與回答
Professor: Some universities require students to take courses outside their major, while others allow students to focus only on their main field of study. Do you think university students should be required to take at least one course outside their major? Why or why not?
Student A: Yes. Courses outside a student’s major can develop useful skills and introduce new interests that may help in future studies or careers.
Student B: No. Students should focus their limited time and money on the courses most relevant to their major and career goals.
I believe university students can benefit greatly from being required to study at least one subject outside their main field. Taking courses in different subjects can help students develop useful skills that may also benefit them in their main field of study. For example, an engineering student who takes a communication course may learn how to explain complicated technical information more clearly. This ability could be extremely useful when working with clients or colleagues in the future. Studying an unfamiliar subject can expose students to new areas of knowledge and help them discover interests they did not know they had. For instance, a business student who takes a psychology course might become interested in human behavior. This new interest could later influence the type of career the student chooses. For these reasons, studying subjects outside one’s major can give university students valuable skills while also helping them explore new academic and career possibilities.
