Here, “Reimburse” means " to pay out the previous expense" in the accounting field. If the employee has to pay an expense in advance because of a business trip, the company will compensate the employee for the previously advanced payment afterward. At this time, the word “reimburse” can be used.
Our company will reimburse employees for travel expenses.
